Vivek Ramaswamy suggested that Vice President Harris engage in a debate with him regarding artificial intelligence, amidst speculations about former President Trump’s potential selection of a running mate.
Ramaswamy expressed his willingness to challenge Harris on her knowledge by humorously mentioning a scenario where he would ask her to spell ‘AI,’ anticipating a similar reaction to a past incident involving Nikki Haley. This proposal was prompted by a comment from Jack Posobiec, a senior editor at Human Events, envisioning Ramaswamy’s performance in a debate against Harris.
In a separate instance, Harris delivered a speech in London focusing on the future of artificial intelligence, emphasizing the importance of collaboration with various entities to ensure AI safety and fairness globally.
Recently, Harris also highlighted the potential risks associated with AI, such as discrimination and bias, affirming her commitment to collaborating with civil rights advocates. She introduced the concept of a “Blueprint for an AI Bill of Rights,” aimed at enforcing responsible AI practices among private enterprises operating in the sector.
Additionally, the American Accountability Foundation raised concerns about the Biden administration’s alleged agenda to leverage AI for advancing progressive ideologies, with activists on the left playing a significant role in this initiative.
Ramaswamy, on another platform, reiterated his suggestion for Governor Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race following Trump’s decisive victory in the Iowa caucuses. He emphasized the need to prioritize the nation’s interests and unite behind a common goal.
After finishing fourth in the caucuses, Ramaswamy exited the race and threw his support behind Trump. He actively campaigned for Trump in New Hampshire, urging his supporters to rally behind Trump’s candidacy against Nikki Haley.
While Trump has not yet disclosed his choice of a running mate for the 2024 elections, he indicated during a recent Fox News town hall that his decision had been made.
