The Competitive Carriers Association, in a statement released recently, commended the strategy for addressing crucial issues previously raised with the FCC through public opinion. This includes emphasizing the importance of licensing mid-band range, which is deemed essential for the successful expansion of mobile services.
Tim Donovan, the CEO of CCA, expressed optimism about collaborating with the Administration, FCC, Congress, and other stakeholders to effectively execute the Strategy. He highlighted the necessity for Congress to enact legislation reinstating the Federal Communications Commission’s authority to implement the band program.

Grant Spellmeyer, CEO of America’s Communications Association Connects, emphasized the need to leverage all available resources, such as special use, unregulated usage, and sharing, to meet the escalating demands for mobile diversity.
