### Obtain Free Relational AI Programs from Amazon

Could an Amazon AI skillset get you an AI job?

A new education record labeled “AI Ready” has been unveiled by the organization responsible for issuing AWS certifications, aimed at educating aspiring professionals on Amazon’s AI technology.

Before joining The Verge, Umar Shakir, a media poet with a penchant for electronic vehicles and USB-C compatible devices, accumulated over 15 years of experience in IT support.

In an effort to equip individuals of all ages with essential skills, Amazon has launched free educational courses on generative AI. The initiative, named “AI Set,” encompasses eight training modules focusing on AI project management and development, expanding upon the existing AWS-based Artificial skills training provided by Amazon. Amazon reports that over 21 million individuals have already undergone training in AWS cloud computing skills through their programs, with an additional 2 million expected to do so by 2025.

While emphasizing the increasing demand for AI expertise and the willingness of businesses to offer higher salaries for such skills, Amazon’s educational programs also serve to promote the company’s AI products. In addition to technical training, Amazon offers non-technical courses covering the fundamentals of relational AI, project planning for AI initiatives, and the utilization of Amazon’s CodeWhisperer AI code generator. The curriculum further delves into AWS machine learning, language models, and the Bedrock AI software platform, aiming to enhance the accessibility of Amazon’s AI technology to major corporations like Google, Microsoft, and OpenAI.

Enthusiasts can explore the original conceptual AI training and CodeWhisperer introduction on the AWS Educate website. The additional free courses, including guidance on leveraging Amazon’s Transcribe speech-to-text tool, are accessible through the AWS Skill Builder platform.
