Meta introduced new AI capabilities and features during its Connect 2023 event in September, providing users with tools to enhance their creativity, expressiveness, and productivity.
The company highlighted that Meta AI, a cutting-edge virtual assistant, is now accessible across platforms such as WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, and will soon be integrated into Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and Quest 3.
Powered by Meta’s latest advanced language model (LLM) technology and Llama 2, this innovative model leverages a collaboration with Bing to deliver real-time information within text-based conversations and offers a feature for generating images.
WhatsApp is rolling out a new functionality that allows users to initiate AI-driven chats directly from the Chats tab, currently available to select beta testers. This enhancement, as reported by WABetaInfo, aims to assist users in their daily tasks by providing suggestions and guidance.
Users can now begin new chats by selecting a new option located above the symbol on the Chats page. This streamlined approach enables swift access to AI-powered conversations, streamlining the user experience for increased efficiency.
WhatsApp has not disclosed the official release date for this feature yet.
