YouTube has introduced a novel feature on its platform, aiming to enhance users’ musical creativity. The social media and image-sharing giant unveiled a cutting-edge AI tool named Dream Track, allowing users to effortlessly generate artist-inspired audio tracks within a 30-second timeframe.
By simply humming a tune on the platform and selecting an artist from the tool, users can create a unique musical piece featuring the AI-generated voice of the selected artist. Notable musicians such as Alec Benjamin, Charlie Puth, Charli XCX, Demi Lovato, John Legend, Papoose, Sia, T-Pain, and Troye Sivan have collaborated with YouTube on this innovative project.
In a recent blog post, YouTube highlighted that the introduction of Dream Track aims to foster stronger connections between artists, creators, and their audience. As part of this initiative, sample tracks from Charlie Puth and T-Pain have been released on YouTube to showcase the capabilities of Dream Track.
With the rollout of new guidelines for AI-generated content, YouTube has made it mandatory for video creators to disclose the use of artificial intelligence in producing lifelike content. Failure to comply with these regulations, as reported by the Associated Press, may result in the removal or suspension of articles from YouTube’s revenue-sharing program for creators.
