### Upgraded MSI Gaming PC Unveils New Graphics Cards and AI Enhancements

The new Stealth, Raider, and Cyborg are here for CES 2024.

The producer specializing in gaming PCs with a focus on bundles is updating the designs of its Stealth, Raider, and Cyborg product lines while integrating what it refers to as artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Notably, the displays now showcase a 16:10 aspect ratio.

MSI is well-known for its entertainment devices that strike a balance between affordability and performance, often enhanced by vibrant RGB lighting. In the upcoming Les 2024 lineup, MSI is revisiting this strategy by introducing refreshed models in the Stealth, Raider, Cyborg, and Titan series, featuring upgraded components infused with a touch of AI.

After getting a sneak peek at MSI’s latest innovations in December, one standout feature is the adoption of 16:10 screens across all models. The transition from the conventional 16:9 aspect ratio to the more expansive 16:10 format in gaming devices has been eagerly anticipated, and MSI’s new offerings provide increased screen space within the same form factor.

Among the new releases, the MSI Stealth stands out for its seamless fusion of style and performance, showcasing a more subtle design. The Stealth 18 AI Studio A1V, priced at $3,299, features an 18-inch 4K Mini LED screen, up to Intel’s Core Ultra 9 processor, Nvidia’s RTX 4090 GPU, and a generous touch-sensitive display, all enclosed in a 6.39-pound (2.9kg) body.

On the other hand, the \(2,499 Raider 18 HX A14V model, recognized for its eye-catching RGB lighting, includes a striking light bar along its top panel. Weighing 7.94 pounds (3.6kg), this laptop provides a more budget-friendly option compared to the extravagant \)5,000 Titan 18 HX A14V model. The Raider can be customized with up to a 14th Gen Intel Core i9-14900HX CPU and RTX 4090 GPU, featuring an 18-inch QHD 16:10 (2560 by 1600) screen with a rapid 240Hz refresh rate.

Transitioning to the compact Cyborg 14, one of its main attractions is its transparent design, now notably slimmer than the previous 2023 model. Priced at a modest $1,099, the Cyborg 14 offers a 14-inch 1920 x 1200 display with a 144Hz refresh rate, housed in a lightweight body weighing just 3.5 pounds (1.6kg). While it can be configured with up to an RTX 4060 GPU, it is limited to the preceding 13th Gen Intel processors.

All three new models come with DLSS 3.5 support and MSI’s latest AI Engine, crafted to intelligently switch between preset modes for gaming, productivity, meetings, and entertainment based on user activities. The on-screen cues facilitate smooth transitions between various usage scenarios, leveraging the capabilities of AI technology.

While the inclusion of AI functionalities may seem somewhat contrived, echoing a trend in the tech sector, the practical usefulness of these advancements is yet to be fully confirmed. The capacity to automatically optimize settings for different tasks based on user behavior is a promising concept, although the implementation and customization aspects require closer examination.

For gaming enthusiasts who prioritize performance and flashy aesthetics, the newest MSI gaming laptops provide a glimpse into the future, despite potential concerns regarding the integration of AI features that may verge on unnecessary bloatware.
