The Justice Management Division (JMD) of the Department of Justice (DoJ) is seeking industry support to procure a new intranet platform embedded with AI and machine learning (ML) tools to facilitate internal communication within the agency.

The Request for Information (RFI) deadline is set for December 8th, aiming to explore potential solutions for transitioning from the current DOJNet platform to a revamped system to be known as Justice Hub.

While DoJNet presently serves as a reliable software for information exchange among Court personnel, it has not undergone significant updates since 2015. Consequently, it lacks the essential functionalities and adaptability for enhanced performance, collaboration, and mobile accessibility, as highlighted by JMD.

The RFI specifies the requirement for a Software as a Service (SaaS) intranet platform with federated search capabilities across various repositories like Intranet, SharePoint, and Service Now.

Justice Hub is envisioned to amalgamate key performance indicators with actionable data, empowering employees with swift access to relevant information. The emphasis is on user-friendly features accessible to all personnel.

Moreover, the proposed system will leverage an “auto-governance” approach utilizing AI and ML technologies to eliminate obsolete or redundant content from the platform.

JMD’s primary objective is to engage a proficient vendor capable of delivering a secure, efficient, and tailored solution that aligns with the distinctive business requirements of the Department of Justice.
