Following an update that integrates Bard with other Google services such as Docs, Maps, Lens, flights, and accommodations, Bard gained the ability to extract data from YouTube in September. However, at that time, it was unable to summarize the content of a movie or offer detailed responses to related queries. Google introduced this enhancement in response to users expressing a desire for a more profound engagement with YouTube videos.
