The introduction of the Copilot AI feature to Windows 10 computers through Windows 11 by Microsoft has been officially announced. Users running the latest Windows 10 Inside test builds will have access to Copilot initially.

In the Windows 10 Release Preview Channel, the testing of Copilot will commence after the Navigator. To enable Copilot after installing Windows 10 22H2 Build 19045.3757 (KB5032278), users need to activate the “Get the latest updates as soon as they are available” option in the Windows Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update menu.

Microsoft plans to gradually roll out Copilot to all Windows 10 devices, including those with the most recent builds, in the upcoming weeks. Initially, Copilot will be accessible to specific Windows 10 users, followed by a phased deployment to centrally managed Windows 10 machines used in corporate or government settings (Windows 10 Enterprise or Education Version 22H2 and Professional devices).

To launch Microsoft Copilot, users can simply click on the new navigator icon on the Windows 10 desktop once it is installed. This action will open a chat window for initiating calls, and users can also utilize Copilot through voice commands using the speaker icon in the chat window.

It’s important to note that Copilot on Windows 10 has certain limitations, such as lack of support for multi-monitor activities. These limitations, as well as the absence of Navigator support for Windows 10 applications (unlike Windows 11), are detailed below.
