Throughout Donoghue’s tenure, Amazon bolstered its sports division by establishing numerous partnerships with teams and leagues. This included a significant long-term deal with the NFL to exclusively stream Thursday Night Football games until 2033.

In November, Amazon live-streamed the NFL’s second Black Friday event.

The news of Donoghue’s departure was initially reported by The New York Post on a Thursday, prompting us to reach out to the company for confirmation.

Jeremy Helfand, previously associated with Hulu and Disney, announced on Thursday that he would be joining Amazon to lead Prime Video Advertising.

Helfand initially joined Hulu in 2018 as a vice chairman before advancing to the role of President overseeing Disney’s advertising division.

His move to Amazon coincides with the tech giant’s launch of advertisements for its Prime streaming services. In anticipation of the upcoming launch, he expressed his excitement on Linked In, stating, “I’ll be collaborating with a skilled team of customer-focused entrepreneurs to create something truly unique!”

Microsoft’s longtime leader, Abhi Rathna, is departing from the company. Rathna had been with Microsoft since 2012 and most recently held the position of main product director for Copilot Studio, an AI-driven project within Microsoft.

Reflecting on his tenure at Microsoft, Rathna shared on Linked In, “Microsoft is home to exceptional individuals, providing ample opportunities for professional growth.” He emphasized the value he places on personal and professional transformations as catalysts for progress, expressing gratitude for the valuable lessons learned from his experiences.

Hill most recently served as the CEO of Blade Games World before his transition to Microsoft. Andrew Richardson has been appointed as the senior vice president of advanced analytics and computation at the Seattle-based insights startup New Engen. Richardson has previously held executive roles at Delphic and Tinuiti.
