As the world’s second-largest producer of memory chips, the company reported an operating profit of \(346 billion (approximately 259.77 million) for the period spanning from October to December. This marked a significant upturn from the \)1.9 trillion loss in the previous quarter and the $1.8 trillion in the third quarter.
According to the consensus of 23 analysts surveyed by LSEG SmartEstimate, the results aligned more with the forecasts of highly accurate experts rather than the prediction of a 192 billion won operating loss.
Subsequently, SK Hynix disclosed its operating income for the second quarter of 2022.
The revenue experienced a notable 47% year-on-year surge, reaching $11.3 trillion.
