Samsung Australia’s X account has confirmed the company will hold a new Galaxy Unpacked event…

Later this month, Samsung is preparing to announce significant solutions, as anticipated. The upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled for mid-January, according to a subtle yet active post on the company’s Australia X (formerly Twitter) account.

According to reports from 9to5Google, Galaxy Unpacked is rumored to commence on “Jan 18, 2024 at 5amAEDT,” which equates to January 17 at 10 am in the Western region or 1 pm Eastern time. The event date corresponds with previous speculations. An engaging image accompanying the post depicts a box transforming into multiple star icons that encircle before unveiling “Galaxy AI is coming.”

In a manner akin to the introduction of the Bixby virtual assistant to rival Apple’s Siri, Google Assistant, and the now-defunct Microsoft Cortana, Samsung is evidently progressing its AI software and services.

In November 2023, Samsung introduced Galaxy AI, highlighting a fusion of on-device and cloud-based functionalities. The speculated Samsung Galaxy S24 series, set to premiere at the imminent event, is anticipated to showcase notable improvements.

Rumors indicate that the Galaxy S24 Plus and Ultra models might bring forth AI-powered features like Life Translate, reportedly enabling real-time foreign language translation on the devices, as hinted by recent leaks from tech insider “Arsene Lupin” on X. Furthermore, these smartphones could offer innovative photo editing capabilities that empower users to manipulate and eliminate objects from images. Nonetheless, it is prudent to approach these leaks with caution until Samsung officially verifies them.
