Roku, a prominent player in the streaming industry, is marking its ten-year milestone by introducing the new AI technology integrated into the Roku Pro Series TVs.

Set to make its debut at Les 2024, a major tech trade show in Las Vegas next week, Roku has announced that the latest streaming TVs in the Roku Pro Series offer enhanced picture quality and automated content curation.

Introduced in 2014, Roku Screen has continuously evolved, expanding its TV lineup to include models from 25 different international TV partners. In 2023, Roku introduced its own branded Screens.

Scheduled for release in the spring of 2024, the Roku Pro Series TVs, available in 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch variants, blend convenience with cutting-edge technological design. These TVs are priced at under $1,500.

Featuring a 4K QLED display, Mini-LED native dimming, and advanced audio technology, the Roku Pro Series TVs aim to deliver an immersive viewing experience, focusing on superior picture quality and interactive audio. The wall-mounted design is tailored for seamless streaming.

Chris Larson, Roku’s Vice President of Wholesale Strategy, emphasized that the “Roku Pro Series” embodies the company’s commitment to picture and audio quality, sleek design, unique features, and user-friendly interface.

Additionally, Roku unveiled the Roku Smart Picture feature, set to launch in spring 2024. This innovative technology harnesses AI and machine learning to dynamically adjust the picture based on the content being viewed, ensuring a personalized viewing experience across all Roku TV models, including those supporting the Roku Pro Series.

Mustafa Ozgen, Chairman of Devices, Products, and Technology at Roku, highlighted the company’s vision of providing viewers worldwide with a seamless and personalized streaming experience, reflecting on the evolution of the Roku TV program over the past decade.

With Roku customers averaging 3.9 streaming hours per day per active account as of Q3 2023, and a staggering 100 billion hours viewed on a trailing 12-month basis, the global streaming trend continues to surge.
