According to Srikanth Doranadula, Group Vice-President of Technology and Systems at Oracle India, Oracle aims to provide services to American organizations for developing AI models within secure organizational premises, considering the increasing adoption of AI in the region.

There is a rising trend in data migration to the cloud, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding sensitive data within firewalls during AI model development. Doranadula highlighted the significance of empowering enterprises to construct AI models efficiently by utilizing their data effectively while upholding strict privacy protocols within their own facilities to address the evolving landscape of personal data management.

Oracle’s AI network strategy prioritizes low latency and efficient data transfers through memory-to-memory connections, enabling faster data processing and transfer capabilities for AI companies. This approach is set to be integrated across all Oracle services, showcasing the company’s commitment to embedding AI functionalities into its customer service solutions.

Furthermore, Oracle has enhanced the utilization of Oracle Apex for tasks like warehouse management and expediting AI model training. For example, the transition of Tanishq to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) resulted in enhanced technological support and a 30% decrease in operational requirements, as per Doranadula.

Customers can now leverage extensive vocabulary models for their data management needs, thanks to the recent support for vector database models in MySQL, along with the introduction of AI and ML capabilities. These advancements are particularly beneficial for Indian businesses catering to American clients, notably in the banking and NBFC sectors.

Oracle’s expanded initiatives, Cohere and Oracle Alloy, offer platforms for cloud service provision and collaboration with Indian partners and device integrators to enhance customer engagement. The Analysis Cloud has been upgraded to incorporate AI features utilizing OCI’s advanced AI capabilities, including AI-powered data interactions, document comprehension, and cultural insights.

With a customer base exceeding 20,000 organizations of varying sizes in India, Oracle has been operating in the country for over three decades, consistently investing in substantial research and development efforts. Oracle’s commitment to the “Make in India” initiative is evident through dedicated product enhancement teams. The company has established two cloud regions in Hyderabad and Mumbai, with further growth potential in Bangalore.
