According to reports, CEO Jensen Huang of Nvidia (NVDA) aims to enhance its collaboration with leading tech firms in Vietnam by focusing on nurturing artificial intelligence (AI) talent and enhancing digital infrastructure.
During his inaugural visit to Hanoi, Huang disclosed plans to strengthen connections with various Asian companies, such as Viettel, FPT, Vingroup, and VNG. He also expressed interest in establishing Nvidia’s upcoming center in Vietnam.
Nvidia has already forged partnerships with key enterprises in Vietnam to advance AI applications in aviation, manufacturing, and healthcare sectors, following an investment of $250 million in the region.
This initiative aligns with the U.S. government’s efforts to bolster diplomatic relations with Vietnam amidst escalating tensions in U.S.-China relations, potentially aiding Nvidia in diversifying its supply chain.
Despite experiencing significant growth this year, with its value more than tripling, Nvidia’s stock trajectory shifted, showing a 1.7% decline as of 9:40 a.m. ET on Monday.
