At the Ignite 2023 conference, Microsoft introduced a new feature for Microsoft Teams called “decorate your area,” which may be rolled out in the upcoming year.
This innovative tool will allow users to personalize and “upgrade” their physical surroundings using artificial intelligence. It will generate cutting-edge background effects like noise reduction and virtual plant decorations on walls.
Moreover, users can take it a step further by adding festive elements like a Christmas tree or fairy lights to create an elegant ambiance, as demonstrated in Microsoft’s promotional video for the tool.
The “decorate your area” feature is just one of the many new additions to Microsoft 365’s Teams Premium and Copilot, including enhancements like voice isolation and improved presenter recognition.
