Layer AI recently secured $1.8 million in a seed funding round, with Laton Ventures, The Games Syndicate, and the Games Fund participating in the investment.

The funding will be allocated by Layer AI towards enhancing integrations for non-gaming functions such as marketing and advertising. Volkan Gurel, the CEO, leads the company, which leverages game developers’ existing art styles to generate assets.

Gurel envisions that the Artificial revolution will mirror past transformative technological shifts like Web 2.0, Cloud computing, and mobile, disrupting incumbents with superior product experiences.
