Research reveals that 30% of all IT job listings in 2023 were AI-related, with projections indicating over 100,000 AI-centric positions by 2026, a significant surge from the 12,000 roles recorded in 2011. New entrants to the workforce, particularly younger workers, will bear the brunt of this pay gap, with novice AI roles commanding 128% higher salaries than their non-AI equivalents.
