The report suggests that Apple is enhancing both Siri and the iPhone’s integrated Spotlight search tool using extensive language models to enhance their capacity to respond accurately to more intricate queries. The restructured version of Spotlight may also provide more profound integration with distinct functions and features within applications.
Apple is also delving into AI-driven functions that could enable users to automatically create playlists in Apple Music and presentation slides in the Keynote app. Speculations indicate that other applications like Health, Messages, Numbers, Pages, and Shortcuts might undergo enhanced AI integration in iOS 18, with the possibility of additional apps being included.
