Also, Mediwave has introduced its suite of smart emergency response solutions in Malaysia.

Lunit offers AI-driven chest x-ray solutions to military facilities in South Korea and the Philippines.

Across the Asia-Pacific region, military healthcare centers are benefiting from Lunit’s cutting-edge AI-powered chest x-ray screening technology, a leading provider of AI healthcare solutions.

In Manila, Philippines, the Victoriano Luna Medical Center has integrated Lunit’s INSIGHT CXR into its mobile X-ray machines. This medical facility caters to both military personnel and civilians within the Philippine Armed Forces, aiming to detect prevalent chest abnormalities such as lung cancer, diseases, and pneumonia with the help of Lunit’s AI solution.

Similarly, the ROKS Yangmanchun battleship of the Korean Somali Sea Escort Task Group, currently stationed in the Gulf of Aden, has also adopted Lunit’s innovative solution. This deployment is part of the company’s extended rollout of AI technology, initially introduced in May, to military bases and troops in South Korea and overseas.

Furthermore, a military clinic in Uzbekistan is set to implement the Lunit INSIGHT CXR by the year’s end.

“The military environment emphasizes the significance of health and the challenges posed by potential infections, often coupled with limited access to quality medical services.” Highlighting the company’s commitment to combating cancer through AI, Lunit CEO Brandon Suh expressed that their AI-powered chest screening solutions aim to address this global issue effectively.

Docquity launches a digital patient management system in Thailand.

Thailand has recently joined Docquity’s Digital Patient Access Program (PAP), utilized by healthcare professionals across Southeast Asia.

The Docquity PAP facilitates seamless connectivity among hospitals, pharmacists, patients, and medical partners on a unified platform. Through the cloud-based Docquity Clinic software, physicians can conduct teleconsultations for follow-ups and health monitoring, enroll patients in extensive pharmacy networks to access essential medications, and aid partner pharmaceutical companies in optimizing their processes. Following a successful trial in the Philippines in 2021, where over 350 physicians from 150 hospitals provided improved access to medications for more than 1,000 cancer patients, the program has now expanded to Thailand with the launch of five Docquity Hubs, supporting over 100 enrolled facilities and 250 authorized patients, as per a recent press release.
