### Evolution of Conceptual AI: Enhancing ChatGPT’s Performance

Nov. 30 will mark one year since ChatGPT’s public debut, and some experts are surprised we’re…

It’s remarkable to consider that ChatGPT could potentially make its public debut within a year from November 30. To evaluate the adoption and non-adoption of relational artificial intelligence by businesses, a review of the past year is currently underway.

When AI expert Bret Greenstein from the consulting firm PwC received a call from someone outside the software industry, he immediately grasped the significance of ChatGPT.

According to Greenstein, “within two months, my mother was sharing examples of its practical applications.” She had refrained from using a microwave for almost a decade due to its novelty.

Greenstein’s primary focus lies in assisting businesses in incorporating relational AI into their daily operations. Nowadays, businesses are increasingly relying on technology for internal functions such as “back business financing, supply chain procurement, HR, IT, etc.”

A recent report by O’Reilly, released on Tuesday, disclosed that two-thirds of businesses were utilizing conceptual AI in various capacities.

Amin Ahmad from the business AI company Vectara observes that the upsurge in CEO inquiries signifies a significant shift in progress.

“2020 marked our inception. Attracting the interest of women posed a challenge,” Ahmad noted. However, following exposure to ChatGPT, no business owner could ignore the potential for improving their enterprise’s efficiency through this technology.

The effectiveness of AI models in language translation stands out as a key advantage. Despite their widespread implementation, the rapid technological advancements over the past year have made ChatGPT less inclined towards innovation, at least initially.

Therefore, University of Virginia scholar Anton Korinek expresses astonishment that ChatGPT has not garnered more widespread acceptance.

Korinek points out a growing gap between the capabilities of AI and its actual adoption by individuals.

Some individuals may simply be wary employees.

At Stanford Business School, Professor Mohsen Bayati frequently suggests involving subject matter experts, such as doctors for wellnessAI, in the AI systems’ development. However, business executives are increasingly finding this task challenging.

“We are facing challenges in aligning the perspectives of domain experts, as they fear they are contributing to something that might eventually replace them,” Bayati commented.

I often notice a similar sentiment whenever I engage with ChatGPT.
