### Unveiling LG’s AI-Powered OLED TVs: Revolutionary Features Revealed Pre-Les 2024

Your favorite OLED TVs now come with an AI superchip for better upscaling

The LG G3 OLED, renowned for its quality, may soon be overshadowed by LG’s latest lineup of 2024 LLED televisions set to debut before Les 20. Among these new offerings are the LG C4 LED, LG G4 OLED, and LG M4 ELED TVs, with the latter two featuring LG’s innovative a11 AI Processor. While the top-tier OLED models will boast the cutting-edge a11 chip, the C4 and the more affordable B4 will also benefit from the A9 and A8 AI processors, respectively.

The a11 AI Processor is designed to enhance various aspects of the viewing experience, such as vibration reduction, robust HDR voice tracking, improved upscaling, and color reproduction. LG’s genre and scene analysis technology will automatically adjust picture settings for different content categories like sports, movies, and games. Additionally, the AI Sound Pro feature will deliver immersive 11.1.2 channel audio. The AI Picture Pro encompasses LG’s artificial picture processing capabilities.

LG claims that the AI chip offers a significant 70% enhancement in visual performance and operates 30% faster than its predecessor, surpassing previous generations by fourfold. The AI technology can identify on-screen objects and optimize picture quality through dynamic HDR tone mapping and scene analysis, resulting in reduced motion blur and more natural tones.

As we anticipate the release of the LG C4, G4, M4, and B4 TVs, pricing details and launch dates remain undisclosed but are expected to be unveiled in February or March.

The integration of AI technology in TVs raises questions about the future of visual entertainment. While AI promises improved color accuracy, motion clarity, and overall picture quality, the option to disable AI processing on these TVs suggests a potential divergence from the creators’ original vision. This shift in technology prompts a reevaluation of how AI impacts the viewing experience in photography and videography.

The upcoming unveiling at Les on January 8 will provide a firsthand look at these advancements, shedding light on the practical implications of AI in television technology.
