Former NFL standout Antonio Brown has once again stirred controversy on social media by sharing an AI-generated image depicting an intimate moment with Taylor Swift in a recent post. This behavior is not unfamiliar for Brown, who has previously targeted Gisele Bundchen, the former wife of Tom Brady, in similar posts, including one just last week.
In the post, Brown captioned the cartoon image of himself and Swift with a provocative statement, “Move over Jizelle, what these Swifties talkin bout? #CTESPN,” showcasing his penchant for stirring the online community. The intentional misspelling of Gisele’s name and his use of the hashtag “#CTESPN” allude to the ongoing speculation surrounding his mental health and the alleged effects of CTE.
Beyond his social media antics, Brown has been vocal in his criticism of Tom Brady, his former teammate during their time together with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brown has attributed part of his decision to depart from the team and his controversial mid-game exit in Week 17 to Brady’s influence, claiming that Brady pressured him to play despite his injuries.
Despite his public disputes with Brady, there seems to be no animosity towards Travis Kelce, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs and Swift’s current partner. In a post from January, Brown praised Kelce, referring to him as “the dopest cracker I know,” a sentiment reciprocated by Kelce, who appreciates Brown’s presence on social media.
The shift in Brown’s focus towards Kelce’s girlfriend remains puzzling, especially considering the apparent mutual respect between the two athletes. Since his departure from the NFL, Brown’s behavior both online and offline has raised concerns, with incidents like being naked in a hotel pool in the United Arab Emirates in 2022 and facing legal issues related to counterfeit goods and unpaid child support in subsequent years.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift continues to be a target for AI-generated content, with instances of pornographic deepfakes circulating online, highlighting the challenges celebrities face in combating unauthorized and inappropriate use of their likeness. This trend was exemplified by a recent incident involving a misleading AI-generated promotion for Le Creuset cookware that left fans deceived.
