Despite its lower visibility on the Play Store, the browser is recognized as “Advantage” in search results and on Apple’s App Store. Following the integration of Bing AI functionalities, Microsoft had previously referred to it as “your AI-powered browser,” with the latest update emphasizing the AI aspect in the mobile app versions. The App Store description highlights Edge’s privacy features, assuring users that no search history is saved to Bing or Microsoft accounts. Microsoft has emphasized its commitment to user privacy, stating that data is not accessible to Microsoft employees, and Bing Enterprise Chat does not retain chat data.

While the AI branding is prominent in mobile app stores, it is notably absent in the Microsoft Store, possibly due to Edge being preinstalled on Windows computers.
