Doctor Car, also known as Andre Lira, has received an invitation from Nerve Collect to unveil his latest EP, “Machine Learning.”
By blending international trends with intricate electronic elements, Doctor Car crafts a dancefloor-oriented release that stays true to his signature style.
“Machine Learning” incorporates influences from drum ‘n’ bass, techno, and a fusion of electronic genres across its six tracks. The EP transitions seamlessly from dynamic kicks and soaring synths to pulsating four-to-the-floor techno beats, offering a diverse sonic experience.

In a conversation with Mixmag, Lira shares his experience collaborating with Job and Laurens (Identified Patient and Gamma Intel) in January 2023. He expresses his surprise and admiration for the producers and DJs, stating that they reached out to him for tracks.
Initially, Lira sent them a substantial demo playlist, but it was during a particularly creative week in March that he experienced a surge of inspiration. This led to the creation of “Machine Learning,” “Magic T,” and “Shake the Club” in quick succession, each completed within 2 to 3 hours while he was at his day job (apologies to his boss for the productivity dip!).
Following the submission of these tracks, the tracklist underwent a significant overhaul based on feedback. Lira reflects on the success of “Machine Learning” and “Mare T” during the summer, attributing their popularity to the meticulous mixing process. He considers this period as one of the highlights of his career, marking a significant milestone in his musical journey.
