Deloitte, the largest among the Big Four accounting and consulting firms, announced on Tuesday the launch of a new tool for handling documents using artificial intelligence. The tool, named NavigAite, will be accessible on both RelativityOne and Relativity Server platforms. NavigAite is designed to assist clients in tasks such as document summarization, identification of personally identifiable information, and contract review. By leveraging large language models with application program interfaces, such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT, the tool aims to enhance the efficiency of secure document review processes, thereby reducing the manual review workload.
In alignment with its counterparts—KPMG, Ernst & Young, and PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers)—Deloitte is actively pursuing growth opportunities within the AI domain. The company has disclosed its commitment to training over 120,000 professionals and allocating over $2 billion towards technology-driven initiatives.
Relativity Inc., headquartered in Chicago, specializes in developing software for electronic discovery and document retrieval purposes, particularly for internal investigations. Deloitte and Relativity have maintained a strategic alliance for a decade, collaborating closely in this space.
