**Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra Upgrade Proven to be Effective**

Samsung has confirmed its plans to use AI in its upcoming smartphones.

The highly anticipated debut of the Galaxy S24 premier is expected to showcase new features, with Samsung confirming its plans to incorporate AI technology in its upcoming phones. However, Samsung’s controversial decisions could potentially lead to future challenges.

During the Samsung AI Forum 2023, the renowned tech company unveiled its innovative AI design, comprising three primary components currently in confidential use: Gauss Language for natural language processing and generating human-like responses, GauSs Code for software development and code information, and gauge image for graphic creation and editing. This conceptual AI model is named “Singapore” in honor of Carl Friedrich Gauss.

Recently, on Sunday, November 12, Samsung disclosed further details about the potential applications of its Gauss conceptual AI capabilities in the upcoming Samsung S24. Notably, @Tech_Reve highlighted the integration of AI to simplify complex tasks and deliver strategic outcomes:

“Anticipated functionalities include preemptive provision of weather conditions, traffic updates, and app features by analyzing the user’s location and travel time. Moreover, tasks like composing and sending emails upon voice command are expected to be seamlessly executed. Safeguarding personal data privacy by storing and processing data locally on Samsung devices will be paramount in consumer decision-making, facilitated by the enhanced AI capabilities of the latest Chipset and Exynos chipsets.”

Samsung has indicated that the conceptual AI models could potentially debut “early next year,” aligning with the timeline for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series release. These devices are equipped to handle certain AI tasks on-device while offloading others to the cloud.

In contrast, Google is promoting its Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro as the pioneering smartphones leveraging AI technology, with other manufacturers and suppliers following suit. The integration of AI is emerging as a pivotal feature in the latest smartphone models, although the absence of Apple in this AI-driven landscape is notable.

Despite the strides made by Samsung in the AI domain, there are specific challenges unique to Samsung and its market, such as the internal competition within the company.

Within the S24 lineup, Samsung has committed to utilizing a blend of its proprietary Samsung 2400 chips and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processors. Notably, the premium Galaxy S-24 Ultra variant will exclusively feature Qualcomm chips, while other models will vary by region.

Both chipsets have integrated AI capabilities, with Samsung aiming to provide a cohesive user experience across its smartphones. However, the performance and efficiency discrepancies between the two manufacturers’ chips may influence consumer preferences, with Qualcomm-powered Galaxy devices often perceived as the superior choice due to their AI processing capabilities.

While Samsung’s cloud-based AI functionalities remain unaffected by this chip selection, the upcoming Galaxy S24 series will place a significant emphasis on AI integration. Samsung aims to ensure uniform performance standards across Exynos and Snapdragon models to avoid any performance differentials. The decision to incorporate dual motherboards in the Galaxy S24 lineup may have substantial implications in 2024, given the growing prominence of AI technology in the market.

The launch of the Galaxy S24 series is highly anticipated, with expectations of an early unveiling in January 2024.
