Bhavish Aggarwal, the founder of Ola, underscored the significance of artificial intelligence (AI) in societal integration and daily functionality. He delivered a speech at the 12th edition of INSIGHT: The Genome of Success hosted by the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore. During the event, as reported by PTI, Aggarwal highlighted the pivotal role of AI in fostering social cohesion and enhancing everyday conveniences.
Sadhguru, the spiritual leader of the Isha Foundation, expressed his belief that the advancement of AI may outpace expectations. He remarked on the importance of understanding the essence of “being” swiftly, stating, “I hope it happens more quickly than it is happening today.”
Describing AI as a form of automated technology rather than true knowledge, Sadhguru envisioned a future where such systems could liberate human potential, allowing individuals to focus on higher intellectual pursuits.
In an article on AI, Aggarwal suggested that India has the potential to lead global AI development. He emphasized that the rapid evolution of AI will enhance productivity, accelerate scientific progress, and drive innovation. Aggarwal envisions a future where humans can transcend mundane tasks handled by computers, enabling a focus on expanding the frontiers of knowledge and creativity. He believes that India’s unique cultural disposition towards exploration and philosophical inquiry, coupled with its technological and economic advancements, positions the country to lead the AI revolution.
