At Les 2024, a significant global technical event set to take place in Las Vegas from January 9 to December 12, SK Hynix Inc. has revealed its strategies to advance the development of highly efficient memory products essential for the future of AI infrastructure.

SK Hynix aims to demonstrate its forward-thinking vision through its Memory Centric approach, highlighting the critical role of memory products in propelling technological advancements in the AI era and bolstering global competitiveness in the memory market.

In collaboration with key affiliates within the SK Group such as SK Inc., SK Innovation, and SK Telecom, the company will create “SK Wonderland,” a dedicated space to showcase its top-tier AI memory products, including the state-of-the-art HBM3E.

Scheduled to commence production in the first quarter of 2024, SK Hynix is gearing up to launch HBM3E, acclaimed as the most high-performing memory product globally, targeting major AI technology companies worldwide.

A major attraction of the event will be an IoT Fortuneteller exhibition, featuring relational AI technologies powered by HBM3E in a charming amusement park-themed environment. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the AI fortuneteller, which utilizes personalized visuals and New Year’s predictions to provide a distinctive entertainment experience.

Additionally, SK Hynix will showcase cutting-edge AI systems in a collaborative home demonstration room, highlighting innovations like Compute Express Link (CXL), an advanced interface, Accelerator-in-Memory (AiMX), a cost-efficient and effective AI accelerator card, and a prototype of Computational Memory Solution (CMS), integrating computational capabilities with CXL memory solutions.

Significantly, CXL memory and HBM emerge as pivotal products propelling advancements in AI technology. To meet the demands of AI customers, SK Hynix intends to introduce 96GB and 128GB CXL 2.0 storage solutions based on DDR5 technology.

Justin Kim, the President (Head of AI Infra) at SK Hynix, expressed excitement about presenting their technology at the heart of the U.S. AI infrastructure landscape. With a solid presence in IoT storage, SK Hynix aims to enhance partnerships with global collaborators and accelerate business transformations.
