Samsung utilizes its latest AI technology to enhance cleaning efficiency in robots and vacuums through steam cleaning.
During CES® 2024, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. unveiled a new line of advanced vacuum cleaners featuring state-of-the-art artificial intelligence (AI). The Bespoke Jet Bot ComboTM, a combination of a vacuum and brush robot cleaner, has been equipped with upgraded AI capabilities and steam cleaning functionality to simplify the cleaning process for users.

Enhanced AI Capabilities in Bespoke Jet Bot ComboTM
The Bespoke Jet Bot ComboTM, an AI-powered vacuum and brush robot cleaner, not only improves the cleaning process but also enhances the post-cleaning experience for users. The AI Object Recognition system initially developed for the Bespoke Jet BotTM AI+ has been upgraded and integrated into the ComboTM model. By utilizing a 3D sensor, the device can now identify a wider range of objects with greater precision, leading to more nuanced navigation.
One of the most significant enhancements is the AI Object Recognition’s ability to identify stains and specific areas, providing users with a more thorough cleaning experience. The device prompts users to set up “no-go zones” such as bathrooms, balconies, or entrances to prevent unwanted cleaning in designated areas. It also categorizes and distinguishes mapped areas like living rooms and kitchens. Upon detecting a stain, the Bespoke Jet Bot ComboTM intelligently returns to the designated spot to preheat the brush pads with hot steam and water before initiating the cleaning process. With its powerful spinning mops operating at 170RPM, it can effectively tackle tough stains, reducing the need for user intervention across various settings.
Utilizing the AI Floor Detect feature, the device can differentiate between floor types to optimize cleaning performance. It automatically adjusts its suction power, capable of deep-cleaning carpets by increasing vacuum strength after distinguishing between hard floors and carpets. Moreover, it prevents dirty brush pads from transferring debris to carpets or getting them wet. When a carpet is detected, the Bespoke Jet Bot ComboTM decides whether to lift or remove the brush pads at the designated station to prevent cross-contamination.
The final stage of the cleaning process is seamlessly managed by the Bespoke Jet Bot ComboTM. It offers a three-step Total Cleaning System for the brush pads, including washing, steam cleaning, and auto-drying with warm air. To ensure proper maintenance and hygiene, the device steams the mop pads after washing them with hot water heated by high-temperature steam.
