Cerence experienced a surge in its stock value following its partnership with Volkswagen to integrate automotive-grade ChatGPT into the car manufacturer’s in-car assistant platforms.
In the initial trading session, Cerence’s shares climbed by 6.7% to reach \(20.39. Concurrently, Volkswagen’s stock also saw an uptick of 2.2% to \)13.33.
Volkswagen is set to become the pioneer in deploying Cerence Chat Pro, a cutting-edge in-car assistant that leverages ChatGPT technology along with a diverse array of resources. This development was disclosed by the company on Monday.
As per the announcement, Cerence Chat Pro will be accessible in VW Group’s existing IDA words assistant-equipped MEB and MQB classic models.
