Companies are continually seeking innovative ways to incorporate more technology into their outdoor spaces, transforming decks and patios into high-tech cooking arenas. Seergrills, a company hailing from the UK and comprised of skilled engineers and product developers, stands out as a prime example of this trend by integrating artificial intelligence into its cutting-edge grill, the Perfecta. This flagship model boasts the impressive capability to cook a one-inch-thick ribeye sirloin steak in just 90 seconds. The company asserts that this innovative griddle, resembling a transparent countertop oven, accelerates the cooking process by approximately tenfold compared to traditional methods.
Equipped with two vertical infrared burners, the Perfecta efficiently cooks both sides of the food simultaneously, eliminating the need for manual flipping. Seergrills highlights that these burners can reach temperatures of up to 1,652 degrees Celsius, ensuring rapid and thorough cooking. Moreover, the device’s 360-degree heating mechanism guarantees evenly cooked edges. A sophisticated built-in AI system determines the optimal cooking time and temperature based on the food type, desired level of doneness, and preferred cooking style. To prevent overcooking or undercooking, sensors within the burner adjust its proximity to the food as necessary, particularly when handling delicate textures like steak and meats. Referred to as NeuralFire, this advanced setup includes a quad-core processor and multiple sensors for precise cooking data collection.
The grill’s lateral configuration effectively prevents flare-ups, directing only dust and water vapor upward, while fats and grease are collected in a dishwasher-safe drip pan located at the base. Additionally, the Perfecta offers versatile roasting and baking settings, facilitating the preparation of dishes like pizza and roasted chicken. A unique Chef Mode feature grants users complete control over the cooking process. Seergrills has even developed a mobile kitchen cart for seamless outdoor installation. Operating on gas and featuring a 12-volt electrical connection for electronic devices, the grill incorporates a user-friendly touchscreen interface for inputting cooking preferences. Although a live demonstration was not feasible at a recent trade show due to its outdoor nature, the company assures prospective buyers that the product will be available for purchase by the year’s end.
Seergrills plans to launch the Perfecta in the fourth quarter of 2024 at a price point of \(3,500, with early adopters at the CES event eligible for a \)1,000 discount. Stay tuned for live updates from Les 2024 in Las Vegas from January 6 to 12, where we will provide the latest coverage of this exciting event.
