A significant partnership agreement has been recently formalized by Razor Labs, a prominent provider of artificial intelligence solutions for industrial equipment, with a renowned multinational corporation deeply entrenched in the global mining sector.
The comprehensive eight-year agreement entails integrating DataMind AI, a flagship product of Razor Labs, into the multinational company’s mining operations across various locations worldwide, notably in Australia, South Africa, and the United States.
DataMind AI aims to enhance mining operations by predicting, detecting, and proactively preventing system issues. The primary objective is to cut down maintenance expenses and mitigate unplanned shutdowns effectively.
“To ensure comprehensive monitoring and mitigation of losses in industrial machinery, our solution incorporates a diverse array of sensors,” explained Michael Zolotov, the visionary behind Razer Labs. Drawing an analogy, he likened the use of only vibrations, the prevailing sensor in the market, to a physician relying solely on basic tests like CT scans, MRIs, EKGs, and physical examinations for diagnosing ailments.
The program developed includes over ten different types of cameras and sensors to provide a holistic analysis of machine data, offering clients advanced warnings of potential malfunctions months ahead. The technical prowess of the 8200 unit alumni team enabled them to tackle the challenge of analyzing, integrating, and diagnosing hundreds of equipment failures.

With the deployment of 8,400 cameras across 14 mining sites, this collaboration will have a global impact. Zolotov affirmed that this implementation will not only enhance production processes significantly but also avert catastrophic equipment breakdowns that endanger the operational staff at mining facilities.
A Substantial Investment
Over a five-year period, the multinational corporation has committed to an extensive partnership with Razor Labs, procuring licenses for the DataMind AI product for 14 mining sites at an approximate annual expenditure of $3.3 million.
Furthermore, the company will allocate \(9.1 million towards acquiring components such as sensors and related equipment essential for integrating their systems with DataMind AI and generating requisite data. Additionally, Razor Labs will provide implementation services valued at \)5.6 million, underscoring the substantial support they will extend throughout the integration process.
“The formalization of this agreement underscores the profound trust in the value and impact our technology brings to the mining industry,” stated Raz Roditi, the visionary leader of Razor Labs. After a thorough evaluation of our product, the client opted for a comprehensive adoption of DataMind AI across multiple global mining sites. This agreement not only validates our marketing efforts in the mining sector but also lays a robust foundation for potential expansion into other sectors.
Amidst a global mining industry valued at $2 trillion with numerous operational sites worldwide, Razor Labs’ cutting-edge systems, equipped with an extensive array of sensors, position the company as a pivotal player in averting industrial equipment malfunctions.
This strategic partnership follows Razor Labs’ successful Initial Public Offering (IPO) in 2021, marking a pivotal shift from a service-centric approach to a product-oriented focus.
The organizational restructuring facilitated the recruitment of seasoned professionals, enabling the introduction and utilization of DataMind AI at sites in Australia and Africa. This recent agreement underscores the remarkable value and market potential of Razor Labs’ groundbreaking product.
Chief Business Officer TomerSrulevich highlighted the collaborative efforts that culminated in this partnership. Leveraging our global expertise and collaborations with major corporations over the past two years, we have identified a compelling demand for DataMind AI in the mining sector, he emphasized.
“The agreement is a testament to the tangible outcomes and transformative impact of our technologies, forged through extensive collaboration and dedicated efforts at the client’s operational sites.”
