**Taylor Swift’s AI-Generated Images Unavailable on Social Media**

The social media platform X seems to be addressing the issue with Taylor Swift’s photos.

Over the weekend, users encountered a message stating, “Something went wrong,” when searching for “Taylor Swift” and “TAYOR Swift AI.” Reloading the page may resolve the issue. However, a search for “Taylor Swift images” yielded harmless images of the singer.

These measures are a response to increasing concerns about combating deepfakes on social media. The White House, SAG-AFTRA, and Microsoft’s CEO have all voiced their concerns.

Last Wednesday, deepfake videos depicting Swift in altered and compromising scenarios began circulating. Deepfake tools utilize artificial intelligence to generate fabricated images from real photos. Several realistic yet manipulated images of Swift in compromising positions were shared on Celeb Jihad earlier this year, subsequently spreading to various social media platforms.

Prior to the removal of the content, the posts garnered over 27 million views and 260,000 likes within a mere 19-hour period.

A study conducted by Blackbird revealed that the singer’s supporters flooded the “Taylor Swift AI” tag with positive comments about her. Additionally, the tag “Protect Taylor Swift” started gaining traction on the platform.
