### Crafting an AI Music Video in Just 30 Minutes: Unveiling Astonishing Outcomes

The song was from Google MusicFX

One of my preferred activities with AI video tools is creating music videos. I have utilized platforms like Runway, Pika Labs, and Leonardo in the past. However, this week, I decided to explore LTX Studio by Lightricks and set myself a challenge of completing the project within a 30-minute time frame.

LTX Studio distinguishes itself from other AI video generators by offering a comprehensive solution. Instead of generating a single clip, it produces all the necessary elements—clips, shots, sounds, and images—based on a provided prompt. This eliminates the need for manual editing in a separate video editing software.

I decided to test how well LTX Studio integrates with a music track created outside the platform, simulating a common scenario for utilizing the video generator and storyboarding tool.

The Advantages of AI Music Videos

Artificial intelligence video generators are becoming increasingly popular among musicians as they offer a quick and efficient way to enhance or create music videos. These tools enable a faster turnaround time in an era where music can swiftly reach fans through streaming platforms.

For instance, OpenAI recently unveiled a Sora-generated music video for a song by musician and activist August Kamp. Renowned artists such as Madonna and Guns n Roses have also leveraged the AI video generator provided by Runway.

Moreover, Runway’s collaboration with Musixmatch simplifies the process of generating lyric videos from a text prompt. Musixmatch, known for its lyrics catalog that powers live-synced lyrics on major music streaming platforms, now allows musicians to use Runway’s Gen-2 model for crafting immersive lyric videos.

AI technology offers a cost-effective and time-efficient method to visualize a song, particularly beneficial for independent artists handling all aspects of music production and promotion.

1. Crafting the Song for the Challenge

For this project, I utilized Google’s MusicFX tool to create a blues-infused track inspired by elder millennial nostalgia. The experimental AI feature, MusicFX, part of the AI Test Kitchen, is based on the MusicLM model. It provides flexibility in adapting tracks to meet expectations.

2. Developing the Prompt for LTX Studio

To initiate the process in LTX Studio, a text prompt is essential. This prompt can range from a detailed movie synopsis to song lyrics. In my case, I outlined a narrative focusing on an elder millennial engulfed in nostalgia, reminiscing about the era of analog content.

3. Initial Draft in LTX Studio

Upon interpreting the prompt, LTX Studio visualized a theme centered around analog content like cassette tapes and vinyl records, emphasizing nostalgia. While the initial output was decent, it required some adjustments to align with the intended focus on the millennial aspect. Additionally, I replaced the automatically generated voice-over with a customized track.

4. Enhancing the Video

Midway through the process, I refined the video by extending its duration and ensuring coherence in the visual elements. Some scenes needed refinement, such as replacing surrealistic shots with a more vintage aesthetic to complement the music style.

5. Finalizing the Video Production

After several tweaks, additions of new scenes, and adjustments to achieve the desired look and feel, I completed the video within the time limit. Despite the time constraints, further enhancements could have been made.

Looking ahead, I anticipate features that allow seamless integration of clips from different platforms or real-world footage within LTX Studio. This enhancement would elevate the tool’s versatility and utility in video production workflows.

Overall, LTX Studio streamlines the initial creation process significantly, enabling the generation of a well-structured video draft within a fraction of the time typically required with traditional tools like Runway or Pika Labs combined with Premiere Pro editing.
