**Leveraging Spectroscopic Labs’ AI Bot “Syntax” to Enhance Ethereum Programs Beyond Coding**

Spectral Labs, a company specializing in bitcoin development with a focus on artificial intelligence, aims to simplify blockchain development for individuals without programming expertise. They are set to launch Syntax, an IoT software designed to aid both engineers and non-coders in creating smart contracts for Ethereum and various other blockchains, on Tuesday.

Despite Syntax’s impressive technical capabilities, Spectral faces the challenge of convincing users to trust AI with their valuable digital assets.

Users familiar with ChatGPT and similar chatbots will appreciate the user-friendly Syntax interface, which is powered by a large language model (LLM) tailored for cryptocurrency applications. This model enables engaging SMS-like interactions with users.

The web application can transform user queries into ready-to-deploy Solidity code, the programming language utilized by Ethereum and other EVM-based blockchains. It can also address blockchain-related questions such as inquiries about the circulating supply of ETH.

According to Spectral Labs, language users can access, test, and implement AI-generated Solidity code. The technology’s potential applications include NFTs, arbitrage bots, and rollups.

CEO Sishir Varghese of Ethereal Labs explained to CoinDesk that users can input commands like creating an ERC-20 token named ‘ABC’ with a 100 million supply, and Syntax will generate the corresponding script. Users can then review, test for vulnerabilities, assess gas efficiency and code optimization, and deploy the application directly on-chain through the interface.

Engineers have been leveraging ChatGPT for coding purposes, while GitHub Copilot, a specialized AI coding tool by Microsoft, has gained popularity since its launch in 2021.

Varghese highlighted the uniqueness of Syntax, being fine-tuned for Solidity development and seamlessly integrating with EVM-compatible blockchains like Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Coinbase’s Base for instant deployment of user-created “agents.”

These agents can mimic human behavior in buying, selling, and trading tokens, with the ability to execute transactions as if they have control over real crypto assets.

Addressing the challenge of “hallucinations” in AI-generated code, Varghese emphasized the implementation of safeguards for vulnerability detection and code efficiency. Syntax was trained on a curated dataset comprising smart contracts, security analyses, and developer guides to ensure code accuracy.

Despite potential risks associated with AI tools like Syntax, Spectral Labs anticipates that retail traders, rather than seasoned developers, will constitute the primary user base due to the platform’s user-friendly nature and accessibility.
