This came after a music piece featuring accents from Drake and the Weeknd was removed following its viral success. A week later, Grimes introduced Elf, an open-source AI program known as Elf. Tech. This innovation allows musicians to incorporate her voice in their compositions while sharing half of the royalties.
The American digital artist, who co-parents children with Elon Musk, recently launched his own AI venture. Despite facing opposition from some quarters, Grimes remains steadfast in her support for utilizing AI audio resources.
CreateSafe, a music technology platform, unveiled Triniti, a conceptual AI-powered tool developed in collaboration with Grimes’ manager, Daouda Leonard. Triniti offers artists the ability to retain music intellectual property rights, create text-to-audio samples, interact with a music industry chatbot, and even generate AI voice clones.
Elf. Tech, a product of CreateSafe, has facilitated the creation of over a thousand music tracks featuring Grimes’ vocals. Grimes has also joined CreateSafe’s advisory committee.
CreateSafe recently announced a successful funding round, raising $4.6 million led by Polychain Capital. Notable participants in the funding include Dan Weisman from Bernstein Private Wealth Management, Anthony Saleh from Kendrick Lamar’s team, and Paris Hilton from 11:11 Media, among others. This funding will further the development of the Triniti program.
Described as an “artistic knowledge” platform, Triniti equips musicians with the necessary tools to craft music. Leonard emphasized that the software aims to enhance the music creation experience by integrating AI without replacing human creativity.
Triniti leverages advanced technologies like Realistic Voice Cloning (RVC) and OpenAI’s ChatGPT to assist artists in generating content. The platform emphasizes collaboration between humans and AI to foster innovative music creation.
One of Triniti’s standout features is its voice cloning and modulation capability, allowing artists to customize their vocal styles and patterns. The platform provides artists with voice licensing options to manage and monetize their creations effectively.
Triniti’s AI trial machine enables users to specify the desired genre or mood for their music, generating tracks accordingly. Additionally, the platform offers management tools powered by LLMs to streamline project organization and client management.
Grimes’ AI voice software, audio samples, and chat features are now accessible for free, with additional services like voice cloning, distribution, and administration available upon request. Triniti plans to introduce a subscription model with annual pricing options in the near future.
